But it's really about suspended bodywork and freeing the fascia. Floatyoga is a combination of traditional yoga poses, pilates, and dance with the use of a suspended hammock. Our adaptation of aerial yoga helps you defy gravity, and allows you to perform various yoga poses that may be difficult to do on the ground, but are much easier in mid-air. Over time though, you'll actually begin to free up stuck spots in the body, allowing you to move much more easily. It's not just great for your body though, as the soothing feeling of drifting into la-la land in your own personal cacoon is pretty awesome for your brain too!
Our cozy and beautiful little studio accomodates up to six students at one time, so personal attention is a guarantee. Our
instuctor, Lia, is very knowledgable, warm, and totally dedicated to ensuring that your experience is wonderful.
Currently classes are offered on MONDAYS from 5:30pm-6:30pm.

Contraindications: Avoid Inversions: Pregnancy, glaucoma, recent surgery (esp. shoulder, eyes, back, hips, hands or wrist), heart disease, very high or low blood pressure, easy onset vertigo, or motion sickness, osteoporosis / bone weakness, recent head injury, cerebral sclerosis, propensity for fainting, carpal tunnel syndrome, severe arthritis, sinusitis or head cold, hiatal hernia, disc herniation or acute disco genic disease, recent stroke, artificial hips, Radiculitis (inflammation of nerve root in spine), severe muscle spasms, botox injections (within 6 hours)
