HOW I'M KEEPING THE STUDIO SPICKY-SPACKY CLEAN

• I thoroughly clean the studio between every client visit by wiping down common surfaces with bleach solutions, changing linens, sweeping, and engaging in personal hygiene practices that I believe enhance safety.
• All linens, face covers, etc. that come into contact with skin are washed and bleached between clients.  An adorable little robot vacuums the floor daily.
• I wash my hands thoroughly between working with all clients!
• I run a HEPA air filter in the space consistently throughout the day, and the floors are thoroughly vacuumed at night.
• I am very serious about sending symptomatic people home. Check out my blog post on getting a massage when you're sick.
• I have diligent personal practices of washing hands throughout the day and between clients, gargling with Listerine, nasal lavage when needed, etc. 
• I always wear a mask when working near your face, and I am happy to wear one during your treatment if you prefer.  However, please note that I do not have confidence in most masks as a significant agent of protection against viruses, and I will reschedule any client who does not appear well, regardless of a mask.
• I have rigorous personal practices that focus on strengthening my immune system.  I believe this is a critical step for all of us in reducing the spread of viruses in general.  Pour yourself a nice cup of tea and check out my blog post on seven surprising ways that I boost my own resistance to viruses.

Please note:  I do not require physical proof of anyone's vaccination status, and you have a right to privacy that HIPPA protects.

I see strong evidence that unwellness can endanger the unvaccinated/unexposed and immunocompromised.  Should you get a massage when you are sick?  No, and please click here to learn why if you need to be convinced.

I do not see strong evidence that well people endanger other vaccinated or fully recovered well people.

Not everyone can and should vaccinate; I consider that to be a private discussion between an individual and their physician. Substantial evidence supports that natural exposure with full recovery offers comparable protection to vaccination. I do not require a mask if you are well and have had no recent contact with any sick individual.  I am happy to wear a mask at your request for the entire session, and I always wear one when working near the head and face.
